Sal Michael Federico, BA, RADT-1, Director of Operations

After 20 years of dealing with substance abuse, Sal Michael Federico began his journey of recovery in January of 2011. He found a home in 12 step meetings and engulfed himself into the program.

Shortly thereafter, he went back to school where he achieved multiple culinary degrees and certifications. However, Sal wanted to do more. He achieved an Associate’s degree and later a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.

While furthering his education in the beginning of 2014, he started working in treatment and later that year he found his home with Oro House.

Sal has been a mainstay in the company ever since, starting as a Residential Advisor, moving to Shift Lead, and eventually getting into Management.

He recognizes that loyalty, hard work, determination, and the desire to achieve accomplishments greater than oneself is what recovery and treatment is all about.

Sal went on to further is education in the treatment field after graduating from an Addiction Dependency Solutions program.

Sal has found a love for this field. Understanding all areas of recovery and treatment through his years of experience makes him an asset as the Director of Operations.
