Non 12 Step Rehab Program
The Oro House Non 12 Step Rehab Program offers our clients an alternative to the 12 step model of recovery. There are many paths to recovery and while the 12 Step Model has worked for many people, others might find success with additional tools.
Just because we don’t teach “the steps” in our program, we never discourage anyone from using any techniques that can help with sobriety.
Our non 12 step program is custom tailored for each client because no two people or addictions are the same. Instead of just working in groups like other programs, our clients participate in one-on-one sessions as well as groups.

Dual Diagnosis Treatment
The Oro House Dual Diagnosis Treatment Program is ideal for people who have a co-occurring disorder of addiction to alcohol or drugs AND a mental health condition like depression, PTSD, or anxiety, among others.
It can be difficult to determine for some people, which came first – addiction or the mental health issue. One of the main goals of dual diagnosis treatment is to find the root cause of BOTH issues and treat the causes while eliminating the symptoms.
For dual diagnosis treatment to be effective, both disorders must be treated simultaneously.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Medication Assisted Treatment, also known as MAT, is considered by most medical organizations and associations to be the most effective way of treating opioid and heroin addiction. MAT is a treatment approach that is usually only available through non 12 step programs or specialized clinics.
The focus of MAT is to use medications combined with behavioral therapies and counseling to treat the “whole patient” for substance use disorders.
Medication Assisted Treatment is an evidence-based treatment option with years of scientific data and research to prove its efficacy. It is also an excellent way to provide safe and comfortable detox for alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioids, and heroin.

Incidental Medical Services
Oro House Recovery Centers utilize Incidental Medical Services (IMS) to address medical issues associated with drug and alcohol detox as well as substance use disorders treatment.
The goal of IMS is to augment the safety of treatment services and related medical care necessary for the long-term recovery of our clients.
Incidental Medical Services allow us to employ experienced medical staff and offer a variety of medical services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This is a supplemental service under our current Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) license but does not include general primary medical care.
IMS gives us authorization to obtain medical histories, treat substance use disorders, administer tests associated with detoxification from alcohol or drugs, and oversee clients self-administering medications, among other items.
